Srinagar, Apr 24: In a move aimed at enhancing student support services, the IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar has announced the shifting of its office to a new location. The new office, located on the Dalgate-Kashmir University Road in Saida Kadal, is expected to be well-connected and better equipped to meet the expectations of learners and stakeholders.
According to Dr. Shahnawaz Ahmad Dar, Regional Director of IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar, the shifting is being made in the interest of learners and other stakeholders. The new office is expected to provide better facilities and support services to learners and help the centre meet their expectations.
The shifting process is set to begin from tomorrow, April 25, 2023, and the office will remain closed for routine work during this period. Communication with the centre during this time should be directed to the official email of IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar at [email protected].
The IGNOU Regional Centre Srinagar is expected to start normal functioning from the new office from May 1, 2023, onwards. Learners and other stakeholders are advised not to visit the office during the shifting process and to update their records and correspondence accordingly.
The move is expected to benefit learners and other stakeholders and marks a significant step towards improving student support services in the region.
