Jammu, Oct 20: Jammu and Kashmir government has reconstituted a committee that will examine the transfer policy related issues of the reserved category employees of Jammu division, currently posted in Kashmir.
Earlier, a Principal Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department (GAD) led committee in this regard was constituted in July this year. But this committee couldn’t submit its report, making the government constitute another committee.
The new committee would be headed by Principal Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, while as Commissioner Secretary to the Government, Social Welfare Department, Divisional Commissioners of Jammu and Kashmir, Secretary to the Government, GAD, Secretary, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs and Representatives of ARI & Trainings Department not below the rank of Additional Secretary, would be the members.
As per government order number 1265-JK (GAD) of 2022 dated October 20, 2022, the new committee shall examine all transfer related issues of reserved category employees and policy thereof, besides other resultant aspects of cadre management and shall submit its report to the government in a time-bound manner.
