Srinagar, Aug 27: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Sakina Itoo on Wednesday visited Government Lal Ded Hospital to assess the situation following a flood-like situation in the valley, saying the government is ready to deal with any flood emergency.Speaking to reporters after taking a firsthand review of the hospital’s readiness, she said, “I took a review to see if there is anything needed in case of any kind of emergency. Otherwise, the situation would have been different, and we would have also faced damage.”The minister affirmed that hospitals are a top priority, and the government is committed to patient welfare. Sakina said the situation was currently normal.
