Srinagar, Feb 25: The General Administration Department (GAD) of the Jammu and Kashmir Government has established committees to ensure smooth, equitable and secure administration of examinations conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
In the UT Coordination Committee, the Administrative Secretary of the Higher Education Department of J&K has been appointed as the chairperson. The Divisional Commissioner of Jammu and Kashmir, the Inspector General of Police for both Kashmir and Jammu, the Director of Colleges in J&K, the State Informatics Officer from NIC J&K, Sachin Jamwal, the Additional Secretary of the J&K Public Service Commission, and a Nodal Officer designated by the Director General of the National Testing Agency have been selected as committee members.
At the District Level Coordination Committee(s), the District Magistrate has been appointed as the chairperson. The committee members at the district level include the Senior Superintendent of Police, the District Nodal Officer appointed by the National Testing Agency, the Principal of the concerned college, the Chief Education Officer of the District, and the District Informatics Officer from NIC.
