Udhampur, April 23: In a solemn adherence to the directions received from the divisional administration, Government College for Women (GCW) Udhampur Wednesday observed a two-minute silence in the college campus across all departments of the college.
A statement said that this act was carried out as a mark of respect and solidarity with the
civilians who lost their lives in the tragic incident at Pahalgam. “Faculty members and administrative staff paid tribute to the departed souls and expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families,” the statement said. The college stands united with the people of Jammu and Kashmir during this time of grief and reiterates its commitment to peace, compassion and community solidarity.
