Government Boys Higher Secondary School Nowpora marked Teachers’ Day by highlighting the contribution of teachers for the society.
Since 5th September could not be celebrated due to heavy rains, the school chose to commemorate it on 10th September 2025 by holding a Seerat Conference in the blessed month of Rabi-ul-Awwala fitting tribute to the greatest teacher of all mankind, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
The conference was graced by the presence of revered guests whose words carried both wisdom and inspiration; Imam Sahab of the sacred shrine of Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (R.A) Molvi Bilal Ahmad Bhat Sahab, Respected Naat Khwan Tahir Hussain Bhat
Senior Lecturer, BHSS Soura.
The program was enriched not only by the thought-provoking discourses of the distinguished guests but also by the heartfelt participation of the students.
With deep devotion, students recited Quranic verses, offered soulful naats, and delivered eloquent speeches on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet_(PBUH).
Their marvellous performances reflected both their talent and their reverence for the sacred occasion. To recognize and encourage their efforts, students were awarded for their outstanding recitations and orations-a celebration of both knowledge and devotion.
This Seerat Conference held a dual significance: it was not only a gathering in honor of the Prophet’s (PBUH) noble Seerat but also a symbolic celebration of Teachers’ Day.
The Principal Dr Syed Masrat Parveen highlighted that while Teachers’ Day recognizes the role of mentors across the world, the truest celebration lies in honoring Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)-the ultimate teacher whose life exemplifies mercy, wisdom, and guidance for all humanity.
In her address, Dr Syed Masrat Parveen extended heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests for illuminating the gathering, and to the staff and students for preserving the sanctity of such a holy assembly.
She emphasized that this was not merely a school event, but a reminder to walk in the light of the Prophet’s (PBUH) teachings-mercy, humility, and service to humanity.
The conference concluded with collective prayers for peace, unity, and divine blessings upon the ” school, the community, and the entire Ummah.
