A young boy from Kashmir went to Bangalore for higher studies where he explored the fashion industry to pay his college fee. After four years, he became the face of many top branding agencies and ventures in India.

Hailing from the Khuri-Batpora village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, Yasir Tak has been working in the fashion industry for four years and has signed multiple contracts with both national and international agencies.

He completed his basic education at a Government School in Kulgam district and after that he pursued Diploma in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic College Ganderbal and later moved to Bangalore for higher studies.

Yasir recently played a role of a British officer in the opening scene of the south Indian movie Victoria Mansion. His character is curious about the truth behind the cursed forest. The film revolves around strange events that happened in Hanumanagiri in 1900, along with mysterious rituals that have puzzled people for centuries.

The story unfolds as an exciting investigation led by the archaeological department, turning into a thrilling drama. Victoria Mansion was filmed in various locations including Bengaluru, Moodbidri, Mangaluru, Chikmagalur, and Belur.

The film is produced by Umesh KN along with Rajesh Bali, who doubles as the lead actor and director under Sri Padmavathi Productions.

“After many ups and downs, I started working with Flipkart in 2018 in Bangalore for their e-commerce shoots for almost two years. It was my toughest period and I learned professional tit-bits of the modeling industry. It gained him good experience,” he said.

After that Yasir joined another agency ‘Spotlight Modeling Agency’ in 2018 and during that time I got another offer of another advertisement from ‘Ultraviolette Automotives’ for the launching of their electric super bike in 2019.

“After completing my studies in Bangalore, I worked for almost two years in New Delhi for Ninjas Models and some other international agencies,” he said.

“To join the Ninjas Models, I shifted to New Delhi and participated in several modeling shoots for various brands and fashion shows. After that I developed some health issues and went back home,” he said.

Yasir was also selected for KGF Chapter 2 auditions. He has also been featured in some scenes. The shooting of the film was held in Hyderabad but due to health issues, he could not join the entire set.

About family support, he said initially there was no support but after his career progressed they started supporting him and encouraged him for the same.

He says, although there is no dearth of talent in the new generation, they need to polish their ideas. There are always ups and downs behind the success of everyone, but one should move forward and keep the snow on,” he said.
