Srinagar,Nov 21:As a welfare measure aimed at mitigating the health issues of police personnel and their families, a free medical camp was conducted at Police Hospital Srinagar under the directions of Dilbag Singh-IPS, DGP J&K and S J M Gillani-IPS, ADGP Armed J&K.
Eminent neurologist Dr Sushil Razdan, DM and his team of specialist doctors which included Dr Rajni Koul and Dr Anil Dhar (neurosurgeon) consulted and treated patients of all age groups who are suffering from various neurological disorders and related ailments.
Approximately 380 patients which included police personnel, their immediate family members, and general public from across Kashmir valley were benefitted. The free medical camp witnessed an overwhelming response and has been appreciated by the beneficiaries. The management, doctors and paramedical staff of Police Hospital Srinagar played a vital role in managing and supporting the free medical camp.
The two-day event was closely monitored and supervised by DIG Armed Range Kashmir. IRP 6th Bn. APC Batmaloo Srinagar efficiently managed all logistics and manpower requirements while as JKAP 5th Bn. APC Batmaloo provided additional support. APCR Kashmir coordinated these activities and communicated the schedule of appointments etc. with the patients/ beneficiaries.
