The Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) expresses deep sorrow over the passing of former DIG of J&K Police and Trustee of Foundation World School Mamath Budgam, Haji Mohammad Subhan Lone, a resident of Humhama, Srinagar.

In a statement issued to the press, a delegation led by PSAJK State President G.N. Var visited his home in Humhama, Srinagar, to personally convey condolences to the bereaved family.

Expressing his grief, G.N. Var said, “Haji Mohammad Subhan Lone was a man of vision and integrity. His contributions to public service and education will always be remembered. He played a pivotal role in shaping quality education in Kashmir and his efforts have left a lasting impact on countless students.”

PSAJK, along with its executive body, district presidents and general members, extends heartfelt condolences to his son Mr. Touseef Lone (Director, Foundation World School), the school management, teachers and the entire bereaved family.

Haji Subhan Lone was not just a distinguished officer but also a visionary leader in education. His relentless efforts toward improving the quality of education in Kashmir led to the establishment of one of the finest educational institutions in the valley. As a trustee, he played a crucial role in developing Foundation World School and ensuring world-class learning opportunities for students.

Beyond his professional achievements, he was known for his pious, generosity and commitment to social service. A man of noble character, he dedicated his life to helping downtrodden families and was always at the forefront of humanitarian efforts. He was a devout individual who offered five daily prayers and lived a life of simplicity and righteousness.

PSAJK stands in solidarity with the Lone family and Foundation World School management during this difficult time and prays for strength and patience for them. May Allah grant Jannah to the departed soul.
