Compounds 07 FBOs on the spot, Challan for 02 FBOs found operating in unsanitary conditions to be submitted before Court
team of Food Safety department along with Assistant Commissioner Food Safety Srinagar, Yameen ul Nabi today carried out inspections of manufacturing units operating in Zakura and Hazrabal areas especially food business operators (FBOs) involved in manufacturing/ processing of ready to eat foods, bakery and spices.
During the drive, 07 FBOs were compounded on the spot under Section 69 of FSS Act for violating various provisions of the Food Safety Act. 2006 and 02 FBOs were found operating under insanitary conditions whose challan will be submitted before the competent Court.
About 80 kgs of Minced meat which was transported in unhygienic and unsanitary conditions was destroyed in accordance with environmental laws.
