Jammu, June 02: National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah and vice president Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed grief over the passing away of Surinder Thappa, block president Arnia in Jammu and conveyed condolences to the bereaved family.
In their messages, Dr Farooq and Omar prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed solidarity with other members of the family.
In the condolence messages, General Secretary Ali Mohammed Sagar, Dr Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal Additional General Secretary and Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President Jammu have also expressed grief and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Rattan Lal Gupta Provincial President Jammu, Sheikh Bashir Ahmed Provincial Secretary, Pardeep Bali Provincial Secretary and Naresh Kumar Bittu District President Jammu Rural B participated in the cremation on Friday at Arnia. Senior leaders of the National Conference have also conveyed their condolences to the bereaved family.
