Srinagar, May25: Professor (Dr.) Naveed Nazir Shah, Professor and Head of the Department, Chest Medicine Department, Government Medical College, Srinagar delivered an inspirational talk during the sixth session of J&K Changemakers Breakthrough Fellowship which was held here on Saturday.
This fellowship is being organized by TimeCode Events in collaboration with BRIDGE Institute, United Kingdom and Infinity Club, Srinagar. The fellowship aims to empower and guide young individuals in discovering their distinct talents and passions.
In his address, Dr. Naveed emphasized on the aspect of being an effective team leader and developing aptitude of facing challenges head on. “Leadership and decision-making skills in navigating high-pressure situations, both in personal and professional realms is of great significance and one should work on honing such skills,” Dr. Naveed advised the participants.
He stressed on the participants to be passionate about the job or profession they are pursuing and never underestimate themselves or lower their self –esteem.
Expressing gratitude to Dr. Naveed for his invaluable contribution, Sibath Qureshi, Director of TimeCode Events, emphasized the significance of inviting inspirational personalities to interact with the participants and motivate youth to realise their dreams and aspirations.
During his interaction with the participants, Additional Superintendent of Police(Traffic), Srinagar Mr. Tariq Ahmad Wani stressed on the participants to make every effort to upgrade their skills so that they are adaptive to the dynamics of the prevalent job market.
Mr. Simon McKenzie and Ms. Ifrah Butt of BRIDGE Institute, UK delivered lecture on the topic “shaping the ideal culture” in which they focussed on the aspect of developing cultural intelligence in personal and professional realms of life and how culture plays a pivotal role in the success of an organisation.
The J&K Changemakers Breakthrough Fellowship is a comprehensive six-month program designed to motivate and mentor young individuals, fostering personal and professional development. With 12 knowledge-packed sessions, each spanning two hours, the program promises an enriching experience to participants across various domains.
BRIDGE Institute, United Kingdom, serves as the knowledge partner, with Mission Youth, Government of J&K, and Infinity Club, Srinagar, extending their support to this youth-oriented initiative.
Established in 2010, TimeCode Events has been instrumental in introducing youth-centric programs in J&K, contributing significantly to the development of event management and multimedia production culture in the region.
