Jammu, July 14: Dr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Technical Director of the Asian Kabaddi Federation and Secretary of the Vansh Sabre Sports Foundation, along with S.S. Gill, Technical Director J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association and S. Tajinder Singh, met Anuradha Gupta, newly appointed Director General, Youth Services and Sports Department, J&K. The delegation extended warm congratulations on her new assignment.According to a statement issued here that during the meeting, Dr. Gupta informed the Director General about the upcoming J&K UT Kabaddi Referee Course (Level-I) scheduled to be held in Srinagar from July 28 to 31. He requested official directions be issued to all district officers to nominate interested PETs, PEMs and Lecturers involved in Kabaddi for registration by July 25.The course aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of officials through training by qualified national and international instructors. It will also prepare them to officiate at departmental camps and tournaments across age groups. Dr. Gupta also highlighted achievements in the sport, including the establishment of North India’s first international-standard Kabaddi Stadium at MA Stadium, Jammu. He expressed hope for greater Kabaddi development under Gupta’s leadership.
