Srinagar, Jan 11: After assuming charge, Jaidev Kesri, DIGP North Range CRPF Srinagar on Wednesday conducted an Operational Conference with all the Commanding Officers of North Range CRPF here at HQ 73 Bn, Bemina, officials said.
CRPF Spokesman said during the conference, all the issues of security concern, tactical and strategic importance of operational areas of North range CRPF were discussed.
“The challenges in Srinagar during harsh winter, forthcoming 26 January security threats and for Sri Amar Nath Ji Yatra-2023 security preparations were also discussed,” he said.
Jaidev has emphasized the troops to work hard on the ground with a sense of vigil and alertness and swift contingency response.
Emphasis was also laid on professionalism, cooperation, coordination with Police and sister organizations, core competencies of empowering the local public through the people first policy, and taking good care of foot soldiers for better administrative arrangements for optimal operational performance to attain organisational goals.
Jaidev also focused on the positive effects of team building & leadership values for professional success. Further, he interacted with the troops of all Ops units of SNR North Range,wherein, he has applauded the commitment and hard work of troops on ground.
He has motivated the troops to feel proud in Uniform and being a part of elite Armed forces and inspire them to work with courage and diligence.
Jaidev reiterated that CRPF has always played important role in maintaining the peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir and we stand committed as a force to ensure the order of law and peace building in the state. The conference was concluded with vote of thank to all participants.
