Srinagar, Sep 18: Dr Mir Shahnawaz, a reputed dermatologist, laser expert and Hairtransplant surgeon of valley, has bagged the best paper award at ACSICON 2022 held in Kerela for his research paper on efficacy of lasers in treatment of skin disorders.
Dr Mir bagged the award for his paper titled ‘Carbon dioxide laser plus topical 5% luliconazole: A better combination therapeutic modality for onychomycosis’. This research has helped in designing an innovative treatment modality for understanding and managing chronic nail disorders.
An expert in lasers, Dr Mir Shahnawaz is currently working as Director and founder of Dermis – Skin, Laser & Hair transplant Clinic located at Bemina, Srinagar.
