Sunderbani, Aug 29: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma, along with Senior Superintendent of Police Gaurav Sikarwar, Friday visited Sunderbani to take stock of the restoration of essential services, road connectivity and the functioning of the Sub-District Hospital post heavy rainfall in the region. As per a statement issued here, during the visit, the DC reviewed the condition of the National Highway and other key infrastructure in the area. He also inspected the Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani to ensure that healthcare services are functioning smoothly and directed the concerned authorities to address any issues promptly. Later, the Deputy Commissioner chaired a meeting of local government functionaries, where he instructed officers and field staff to perform their assigned duties with utmost sincerity. He further directed them to submit detailed reports on damages caused by the recent rains so that timely restoration measures can be taken. The Deputy Commissioner informed that electricity supply has been fully restored across Rajouri district and assured that the administration is working on priority to ensure uninterrupted services and road connectivity for the public.
