Poonch, Aug 22: Deputy Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the Change of Land Use (CLU) cases.A statement issued here said that a total of 12 cases were taken up for review. Of these, 05 cases were approved, 03 cases were rejected and 01 case reverted, while 03 cases were deferred after extensive deliberations on their compliance with existing norms and policies. Stressing the importance of timely issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs), the DC directed the concerned officers to ensure thorough document verification and strict adherence to policy guidelines. He emphasised the need to streamline the CLU approval process to enhance transparency and efficiency in future cases. The meeting was attended by ACR, Mohd Sayeed, Chief Agriculture Officer, CEO PDA, officers from BRO and Executive Engineers from PWD, JPDCL, I&FC, along with other concerned officials.
