Doda, Aug 18: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Harvinder Singh Monday inaugurated the Knowledge Nexus Library here at Mandir Gali, Nagri near Government Medical College.As per a statement issued the newly established library is a fully air-conditioned and well-furnished facility with modern amenities including comfortable seating, separate study desks, RO mineral water (hot/cold), CCTV surveillance, daily newspapers, free Wi-Fi, seat reservation options, LED-lit study cabins with charging points, washroom facility, magazines, religious books and a canteen service. The Deputy Commissioner said that the library will serve as a valuable hub of knowledge, research and guidance, benefiting students, researchers and readers across the district. Civil Society members, SHO and other dignitaries were also present at the inaugural function. The Knowledge Nexus Library is expected to play a significant role in promoting a vibrant reading culture and academic environment in the region.
