Srinagar, Jan 08: J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Vikar Rasool Wani, Senior Vice Presidents G N Monga and Mohd Anwar Bhat on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the demise of prominent Congress leader Mohd Maqbool of Pattan area of Baramulla district.
The leaders termed the demise of Mohd Maqbool a great loss to the Congress and recalled the selfless services of the deceased towards the party and the people of his area. They expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Similarly, a condolence meeting was held at the PCC Office which was chaired by Mohd Anwar Bhat and attended by PCC Vice President Abdul Gani Khan, District President Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan, PCC Secretary Muzaffar Shah and various other party leaders. The meeting expressed profound grief over the passing away of Mohd Maqbool and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
