Commissioner Secretary Shital Nanda drives back-to-village program in Gagangeer

Ganderbal, Nov 18: Commissioner Secretary of the Social Welfare Department, Shital Nanda, spearheaded a public darbar in the Gagangeer area of Sonamarg(B) area of Tehsil Gund as part of the ongoing Back-to-Village program. Welcomed warmly by the local residents, Nanda engaged with community representatives to delve into their concerns and challenges.
During the event, Commissioner Secretary Nanda emphasized the program’s significance as a pivotal step toward rural development. She underscored the program’s dual purpose of addressing complaints and problems directly at the doorsteps of rural communities. Nanda urged the public to capitalize on the benefits offered through the program.
The occasion witnessed the presence of senior officers from the district Admin Ganderbal, PRIS, BDC.
Commissioner Secretary Nanda, while interacting with these officers, issued directives to ensure the establishment of essential amenities. She stressed the need for continuous supervision of daily necessities to prevent any inconvenience for the beneficiaries.
As part of the interactive session, people participating in the program shared their feedback on official schemes with the visiting officers, addressing their concerns and complaints. 
Commissioner Secretary Nanda assured the public that their legitimate demands would be promptly conveyed to the relevant departments for proper and timely resolution. This collaborative effort aims to enhance the effectiveness of the Back-to-Village program and contribute to overall rural upliftment.
