Jammu, April 05: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary Tarun Chugh who is also the party in-charge of J&K on Friday took strong exception to former J&K chief minister Farooq Abdullah’s comments on the screening of the film ‘Kerala Files’ on Doordarshan, saying the movie carries a nationalist message which should be told to the entire nation.
Chugh said, “Like Kashmir Files, the Kerala Files also exposes a section of the society which has nefarious designs to execute. The film narrates how gullible girls were being motivated by groups like ISIS to tread the anti-national path.”
He said that earlier, similar groups had raised voices against the Kashmir Files. “People like Abdullah don’t want the truth about Kashmiri Pandits to be told to the people. The Abdullahs have their own anti-national agenda to pursue which cannot negate the development envisioned by the Modi government,” he said.
