Jammu, July 13: Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu on Thursday said it welcomes the pilgrims coming from various states and cities of the country to the Shri Amarnath Ji shrine in Kashmir.
The Chamber in a statement said it always feels that the pilgrims should get all the required facilities whether it is from the administration or from the local people who are always ready to help the needy pilgrims.
“In this context, to facilitate the easy movement of the handicapped and elderly pilgrims and tourists, the President Chamber of Commerce & Industry Arun Gupta accompanied by Rajeev Gupta, Jr. Vice President, Rajesh Gupta, Secretary and Rajesh Gupta Treasurer today provided four wheelchairs to the Railway Authorities of Jammu Tawi Railway Station,” the statement said, adding, “The Station Master of Jammu Railway Station along with Superintendent of Railways highly appreciated this gesture of Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu who always have been at the forefront to render all possible help to the needy.”
The Chamber has urged the government and the general public to ensure a hassle-free yatra for Amarnath pilgrims so that they do not feel disparity while performing the yatra.
