Srinagar, Aug 23: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and DDC member Srinagar, Er Aijaz Hussain on Saturday chaired an organisational meeting of Lalchowk Constituency to review ongoing party activities and to strategise for the upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) and Panchayat elections.The meeting witnessed the participation of senior leaders of the party, constituency office bearers, executive members, and active grassroots workers. The primary focus of the deliberations remained on strengthening booth-level committees, organisational expansion, and preparing a strong foundation for upcoming electoral battles, accordnig to a statement issued here.On the occasion, many prominent people, including enthusiastic youth and respected citizens, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) under the leadership of Er Aijaz Hussain, the statement said. Extending a warm welcome to all new entrants, he said their participation will further strengthen the party’s presence in Lalchowk constituency and ensure wider public outreach.Addressing the gathering, Er Hussain emphasised the importance of booth formation as the backbone of the party’s organisational structure. He directed all office bearers and workers to work with full dedication at the grassroots level, maintaining close contact with people, and addressing their day-to-day issues. Collective efforts and team spirit are vital to ensure the BJP’s success in the upcoming elections,” he said.Highlighting the role of dedicated karyakartas, he said, “Our strength lies in our workers at the booth level. Each booth must become a stronghold of the BJP, where people can connect with the party’s vision of development, peace, and progress.”The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all participants to work tirelessly for the people, expand party activities, and strengthen the organisational base across the constituency.
