Body of newborn found abandoned in Budgam village

Jammu and Kashmir police on Thursday started the investigation after the abandoned newborn baby was found dead in the habbar village of Khag tehsil in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

 

An official from the Police Sation Khag, told the Rising Kashmir that after the police received the information regarding this, team has reached the spot and found the body of an abandoned newborn baby (female) in Habbar village.

 

“The samples of a baby have also been collected for the DNA test.” “After that, the body of the baby has also been buried,” an official said.

 

He said that the investigation into this incident is going on under Section 174 Crpc.
