Srinagar, Jul 08: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday paid heartfelt tributes to Shaheed Wasim Bari, his father Mohammad Bari, and his brother Umar Bari, who were martyred in a brutal terrorist attack in Bandipora on this day. The tribute ceremony was held at the BJP Headquarters in J-53 Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, in solemn remembrance of their supreme sacrifice and lifelong commitment to public service, the party said in a statement issued here.During the event, BJP leaders recalled the remarkable contributions of Wasim Bari, who had taken the BJP’s message to every nook and corner of Bandipora, even in the face of grave threats. He worked relentlessly to implement government schemes at the grassroots level, ensuring that development touched the lives of the common people.It was noted that all three members of the Bari family were dedicated political workers, serving the people of Bandipora round-the-clock. Their sincere efforts brought tangible benefits to the community, and their selfless service earned them immense respect among the local population.Speaking on the occasion, BJP leaders said, “Shaheed Wasim Bari and his family laid down their lives for the nation and for the people of J&K. Their martyrdom is a symbol of courage, patriotism, and dedication. Their sacrifice will continue to inspire generations of BJP workers in Kashmir.”The BJP Kashmir Unit pledged to carry forward the legacy of the Bari family by continuing to work fearlessly for the welfare of the people and upholding the spirit of service and sacrifice.
