Bandipora’s ‘Lakhpati Didi’ shares inspiring journey with PM

Bandipora, Feb 20: The District Administration Bandipora on Tuesday organised a mega function here to broadcast the two-way interaction of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi with the beneficiaries of different schemes. During the virtual interaction session, the Prime Minister interacted with NRLM beneficiary Shaheena, a resident of Sonarwani, Bandipora.
While interacting with the Prime Minister, Shaheena highlighted her journey from poverty to a Lakhpati Didi.
During the interaction program, the Prime Minister appreciated the hard work and determination of Shaheena and congratulated her for successful entrepreneurship by taking advantage of government schemes.
Shaheena expressed gratitude and thanked the Prime Minister and Lt. Governor for taking Jammu and Kashmir to the path of development.
Shaheena said there was a time when she was struggling to meet her daily needs, and now, she is one among the Lakhpati Didis and has successfully uplifted her whole family.
The District Level function was attended by Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather; Vice Chairperson DDC, Kousar Shafeeq; DDC Members, ADDC, ADC, ACR, ACD and other District Officers and a number of beneficiaries of various schemes.
The broadcasting of the live interaction program was also held at Block Headquarters and Municipal headquarters across the district.
Overwhelming participation was witnessed at all locations across the district to watch the live broadcast of the Prime Minister’s Program at Jammu.
