Addressing the Y20 summit in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Anurag Singh Thakur on Friday said that as the host of G20, India has an essential role in shaping the discussion and fostering collaboration among the member countries.
“As the host of G20, India has an essential role in shaping the discussion and fostering collaboration among the member countries…This comes with significant responsibilities as the decision taken at this summit can impact the lives of billions of people around the globe..,” Anurag Thakur said.
He further said that by 2030, the youth will dominate the global demography with considerable portions hailing from South Asia and with them lies the collective responsibility to influence global narratives and collective efforts in addressing Sustainable Development Goals. (ANI)
