Jammu, Aug 01: Anil Gupta today assumed charge as the Director of Agriculture Jammu here at Krishi Bhawan Talab Tillo.According to a statement issued here, with a wealth of experience and recognized expertise in the agriculture sector, Anil Gupta is poised to bring fresh energy and strategic direction to key initiatives aimed at promoting sustainability, diversification and enhanced farmer income.A warm welcome was extended to Anil Gupta in a ceremonial programme organized at the Directorate of Agriculture. The event was attended by Joint Director Agriculture (Inputs) Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Joint Director (SLUB) Sohan Singh, sectoral heads, senior officers and staff members, who expressed their commitment to work collaboratively under his guidance to achieve new milestones in agricultural development.Speaking on the occasion, Anil Gupta expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and shared his vision for inclusive and technology-driven agricultural development in the region. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts, timely implementation of government schemes and continuous engagement with farming communities to ensure that the benefits of policies and projects reach the grassroots level.
