Samba, Aug 01: Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC) Samba, Himani Jerath convened a meeting with a delegation of Beopar Mandal Samba market at her office chamber. The meeting aimed to foster dialogue and address labour-related concerns faced by local business stakeholders.A statement issued here said that during the interactive session, the ALC patiently listened to the grievances and issues raised by the attendees. Demonstrating a proactive approach, she resolved several matters on the spot, ensuring swift redressal and support for the business community.In her concluding remarks, the Assistant Labour Commissioner emphasized the importance of strict compliance with labour laws. She urged all shop owners and commercial establishments to ensure proper registration under the Shops and Establishment Act, 1966 and to renew their licenses promptly if due. The meeting underscored the Labour Department’s commitment to facilitating a transparent and cooperative environment between regulatory authorities and the local business fraternity.
