Jammu, Sep 16: First Two Days State Level Management Development Programme (MDP) for Nursing Professionals and Tutors of Nursing Colleges / ANMT Schools of Jammu Region was organized By Academy of Hospital Administration (AHA), India in Collaboration with Acharaya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences &Hospital(ASCOMS) Sidhra Jammu.
Dr. Pawan Malhotra Director Principal ASCOMS, Sidhra Jammu was the chief guest of this training programme along with Dr Yashpal Sharma Director Coordination new GMC’s & Nursing Institutes (National President AHA India) who is heading AHA India with office at AHA House in Noida.
Dr Arun Sharma Medical Superintendent Maternity Hospital Gandhinagar Govt Medical College Jammu (Regional Secretary AHA Jammu Chapter) handled the Stage along with Mr. Sadiq Khan Mass Education Information Officer & National Trainer who presented vote of thanks. Other members of Academy of Hospital Administration namely Dr Ravinder Rattanpal Medical Superintendent ASCOMS Hospital, MrAnshulmani Sharma KAS GM JKMSCL, Dr Sunita Puri, Dr Sanjeev Puri, Dr Vijay Raina Medical SupdtSarwal, Mrs Indra Moza Principal Nursing college ASCOMS were also present on the occasion.
This is the first 2 days State level Management Development programme( MDP) for nurses and tutors of Jammu division where participants are from whole of Jammu division from Military Hospital, BSF, CRPF, Govt Medical Colleges Jammu, Rajouri, Kathua and from all districts under Directorate of Health Services Jammu. Total 135 participants took part in the training. Resource persons and moderators of sessions are from all over state from Kashmir as well as Jammu.

The Nursing professionals are the corner stone of any quality related programme in health care organization. Keeping this in mind, nursing excellence standards have been framed by NABH with a view to lay down the guidelines for evaluating the nursing services being provided by health care organization.
