In order to express solidarity and perceive the well-being of the families of the Police Martyrs, Police in Kulgam visited families of various martyrs who had laid down their lives in the line of duty.
A police spokesman said, “A special team of Kulgam police visited martyrs’ families at villages Zazripora, Poniwah, Ramgrah and Shouch.”
“During interaction with martyrs’ families, the visiting Police Officers listened their grievances patiently and assured them that their genuine problems will be taken up at appropriate level for timely redressal. Visiting officers emphasised on them to consider police department as a family and share their problems especially in case of exigencies”, he said.
While expressing their gratitude, the officers added that J&K Police will always remain indebted to these martyrs who helped a great deal in creating the atmosphere of peace & tranquility in J&K. The family members of the martyrs’ expressed satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond.
