Due to the slippery condition of the road, the authorities in the Budgam district on Sunday asked the drivers to use anti-skid chains on their vehicles which are travelling towards the tourist destination Doodhpathri.

Deputy commissioner of Budgam district, Syeed Fahrudin Hamid, told the Rising Kashmir that Doodhpathri road is fully opened for traffic movement. Due to the slippery road conditions towards the tourist destination Doodhpathri, the drivers are being requested to use anti-skid chains on their vehicles.

“For the safety of the people and tourists, the drivers need to use anti-skid chains.” “So the vehicles will not slip on the Doodhpathri road,” he said.

DC Budgam said that they have already deputed teams to Doodhpathri area, which are also providing assistance to tourists entering the Doodhpathri area.
