Srinagar, June 17: The candidates participated with enthusiasm on the second day of the ongoing Indian Army Recruitment Rally at Anantnag High Ground.
Aspirants from districts of Bandipora, Baramulla, Budgam, Kupwara, Srinagar and Ganderbal competed for selection in the Agniveer General Duty category, a defence spokesperson said in a statement.
The recruitment was reviewed by Major General Sharad Bikram Singh, Zonal Recruiting Officer, Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir, Recruiting Zone, he said, adding that the General Officer interacted with the aspirants and highlighted the salient features of the modified recruitment procedure as well as the benefits of the Agniveer scheme.
