Srinagar, Mar 09: Scores of political workers and social activists from Warpora, Sopore joined the Peoples Conference on Saturday in a ceremony headed by the party’s senior vice president Abdul Gani Vakil.
In his address at the joining ceremony, Vakil said, “The induction of these seasoned and zealous individuals into PC highlights a growing momentum and acceptability of the party’s vision and agenda that envisages a prosperous and thriving future for Jammu & Kashmir.”
“A huge public support from across the valley reflects a deep-seated confidence in the leadership of the PC president Sajad Lone and the party’s commitment to addressing the aspirations and concerns of the people,” he added.
Vakil urged the new entrants to focus on grassroots engagement, connecting directly with the community to build a strong foundation for the party’s endeavours in Sopore and the rest of the valley.
