Srinagar, May 21: The 14th edition of the J&K Jewellery Exhibition-cum-Sale commenced on Thursday at the Radisson Collection Hotel & Spa, Riverfront, Srinagar, bringing together some of the leading jewellery brands from Jammu and Kashmir under one roof.
The four-day exhibition, organised by Silverlines and Fortofino, will continue till May 24 and remain open for visitors daily from 11 am to 8 pm.
Known as one of the largest jewellery exhibitions in the region, the event has over the years become a major attraction for jewellery enthusiasts, brides-to-be and families from across Kashmir. This year’s exhibition showcases more than 10,000 exclusive jewellery designs, ranging from traditional bridal collections inspired by Kashmiri weddings to contemporary office and everyday wear jewellery.
The exhibition features an extensive range of gold jewellery, natural diamond jewellery and solitaire collections designed to cater to diverse tastes and occasions.
Organisers said the exhibition aims to offer visitors a premium jewellery shopping experience by combining traditional craftsmanship with modern designs and exclusive customer offers.
Among the key attractions are complimentary diamond jewellery on select diamond purchases, zero making charges on jewellery, an opportunity to buy gold at old rates and a lucky draw carrying prizes worth ₹1 lakh.
Speaking to Rising Kashmir, Kunal, Director of Fortofino, said this year marks the 14th edition of the exhibition, with Kashmir continuing to remain one of its key destinations.
“This is our 14th show and out of the 13 editions held earlier, eight have been organised in Kashmir. We have been conducting these exhibitions in Kashmir since 2018,” he said.
He said the motive behind organising the event is to bring multiple jewellery brands together at one place so that customers can explore a wide variety of designs and collections under a single roof.
“We have more than 10,000 designs on display this year. The idea is to provide customers with different types of jewellery catering to all tastes and budgets,” he added.
A major highlight of this year’s exhibition is the exclusive showcase of 100 percent natural diamond jewellery aimed at making luxury jewellery more accessible while maintaining authenticity and quality standards.
Kunal said all gold jewellery available at the exhibition is hallmarked and HUID-certified, while diamond jewellery comes with internationally certified natural diamonds.
He further said customers will be offered 21 percent assured appreciation on diamond jewellery along with zero deduction on old gold exchange, enabling buyers to upgrade their jewellery without losing value on exchanged gold.
Apart from shopping, the exhibition has also been curated as a luxury lifestyle experience where visitors can explore the latest jewellery trends, bridal inspirations and styling ideas in an elegant setting overlooking the scenic beauty of Srinagar.
