Reasi, June 24: A two-day training programme aimed to equip revenue officials with the technical knowledge and practical skills for the land record digitization concluded here Tuesday.

The Patwaris and MTS personnel from across the district attended the training organised under the Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP). Designated master trainers conducted sessions and imparted hands-on training to officials on the use of specialised software for uploading land record data, with a focus on the protocols for verifying and authenticating digitised documents. The programme was organised by the District Administration Reasi under the overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik.

The Deputy Commissioner urged officials to diligently apply their newly acquired skills, emphasising that accurate and updated land records form the backbone of an efficient and citizen-friendly revenue system. The programme concluded with an interactive session where participants shared feedback and queries related to field-level implementation. The officials appreciated the hands-on learning approach and expressed their commitment to accelerating the digitisation efforts in their respective jurisdictions.
