Alam hails ‘massive turnout’ at PDP Central Kashmir Workers’ Convention

Srinagar, Apr 17: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) General Secretary Mohammad Khurshid Alam has expressed profound gratitude to party workers and the public for ensuring the success of the Central Kashmir Workers’ Convention held at Sher-e-Kashmir Park here.
In a statement issued here, Alam acknowledged the contributions of district, block, and zonal workers, along with ground-level activists and general attendees, describing their participation as “pivotal” to the event’s success.
“The convention represented a strong show of unity and resilience, reflecting the unwavering spirit of our party’s cadre and supporters,” Alam said.
He highlighted the impressive turnout at the gathering, which featured an “impressive” address by PDP President Mehbooba Mufti.
Alam said the party is dedicated to protecting people’s rights and identity, saying that such collective gatherings “echo the people’s aspirations and their trust in PDP’s leadership”.
The successful convention underscores PDP’s continued organisational strength in Central Kashmir amid ongoing political developments in the region, he said.
The PDP leader expressed gratitude to all senior leaders and colleagues for gracing the occasion.
