Srinagar: Two teachers from the Budgam district are set to represent Jammu and Kashmir at the National Conference on School Leadership 2025: Exemplars of Change and Innovation, scheduled to take place from January 8 to January 10 in New Delhi.
Rajeev Abrol, the Chief Educational Officer of Budgam, informed Rising Kashmir that two teachers from the district have been selected to participate in this prestigious event, organized by the National Centre for School Leadership (NCSL) at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), under the auspices of the Union Ministry of Education.
“The conference, taking place from January 8 to 10 in New Delhi, will serve as a platform for selected school principals and heads to present their leadership practices that have positively impacted education,” Abrol said.
The CEO of Budgam highlighted that the two selected educators are Javaid Ahmad Banday, Principal of Boys Higher Secondary School Beerwah, and Rehana Qusar, Head of the India Government Middle School Yarikalan Chadoora. He emphasized that their participation signifies the representation of Jammu and Kashmir at a national level.
“I extend my congratulations to both teachers; this is a moment of pride not only for Budgam district but for the entire Jammu and Kashmir union territory , as our educators are showcasing our capabilities at a national event,” he said.
