Srinagar, Dec 29: The Jammu and Kashmir Mechanical Engineering Graduates Association (JKMEGA) has issued a resolute call to the engineering fraternity, particularly mechanical engineers, urging them to remain steadfast in ensuring an efficient and seamless public service delivery system to carry the service legacy of past.
A statement issued here said that this appeal comes with a focus on critical areas such as uninterrupted drinking water supply through smooth operation of lift schemes and tanker services, mechanized snow clearance, essential hospital support services including HVAC systems and oxygen plants, as well as dewatering operations to mitigate waterlogging and inconvenience during the harsh winter months.
The JKMEGA president Er Firdous Ahad Bhat commended the unwavering dedication of all engineers across the Power Development Department, R&B, Jal Shakti, and Housing & Urban Development Department for prioritizing public welfare above all else. They lauded their relentless efforts to uphold the mission of delivering effective and efficient public services, even in challenging circumstances. Reaffirming their commitment, JKMEGA pledged to leave no stone unturned in ensuring the best possible services for the public during these difficult times. They also appealed to the public for cooperation and patience, emphasizing the importance of collective resilience to overcome the adversities of winter.
