SRINAGAR, Nov 06: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Wednesday have announced the results for the bi-annual 2024 examinations for the 12th grade in Jammu and Kashmir.
Among the 45,838 candidates who took the exams, 23,781 students passed, yielding an overall pass rate of 52 per cent.
The results indicated that 796 students achieved distinction, while 10,366 secured first division, 11,532 attained second division, and 1,019 received third division. Additionally, 68 students opted for additional subjects, 21,467 were required to reappear, and 590 students failed the examinations.
Furthermore, 1,801 candidates were absent from the exams, and 8 students cancelled their participation.
Prof. (Dr.) Parikshat Singh Manhas, Chairperson of JKBOSE, extended his congratulations to all students for their success in the examinations.
“The examinations were conducted in an orderly manner, and the results were declared promptly,” he said.
