SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has announced the results for the Combined Competitive Examinations (CCE)-2023, with 71 candidates selected to advance to the medical examination phase.
Sanjeev Kumar achieved the highest score, securing the top rank with 1089 marks, followed by Iqra Farooq in second place with 1078 marks, and Vasudha Sharma in third with 1075 marks.
A total of 75 positions were referred by the General Administration Department to the JKPSC for recruitment through CCE-2023, advertised on April 13, 2023. The Preliminary Examination, held on October 15, 2023, saw 18,882 of the 30,756 registered candidates in attendance, with 2,144 qualifying for the Mains Examination, including 77 candidates granted eligibility by the Central Administrative Tribunal.
The Mains Examination took place from March 26 to April 3, 2024, in Jammu and Srinagar, with 1,296 candidates completing all papers. Following this, 274 candidates were shortlisted for the Interview, Viva-Voce, and Personality Test on July 9, 2024, alongside 11 additional candidates permitted to attend by court order.
The Personality Test was conducted at the JKPSC’s Srinagar office from October 21 to October 29, 2024, with 8 candidates absent from the interview process. Following a meeting on October 29, the Commission finalised and announced the results, detailing total scores and recommending 71 candidates for the upcoming Medical Examination as per the required regulations.
