Handwara, July 28: A 32-year-old private school teacher from Drungsoo Mawer, lost his life in a tragic road accident in Mawer area of Handwara, sending shock waves through the area.
As per reports the accident occurred in Hadermali Qalamabad in Handwara, when he navigating a sharp turn, lost control of his newly bought motorcycle and suffered severe injuries.
As per eyewitnesses soon after the incident that the injured was immediately rushed to a nearby healthcare facility. However, due to the serve nature of his injuries, he was shifted to District Hospital Handwara and subsequently referred to a Srinagar hospital. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries en route.
The deceased identified as Fayaz Ahmad, son of Ghulam Ahmad Ganie resident of Drungusa, was a teacher known for his gentle demeanor and unwavering commitment to his students. His recent purchase of the motorcycle, which he was riding for a short trip this afternoon, tragically led to his untimely death. The news of his passing has cast a deep pall of grief over the entire Mawer area.
“He was not just a teacher but a mentor and a friend to the students,” shared a colleague from the school where Fayaz taught. “His absence will be deeply felt.” The colleague added that no one anticipated that Fayaz’s trip would end so tragically.
The deceased is survived by his wife and three young children, leaving behind a family now grappling with an unimaginable loss.
