Mumbai, June 13: Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday said the party has been ordered to gear up for the upcoming assembly elections.
Along with this, the National President of the party Yuva Sena and former cabinet minister of Maharashtra Aditya Thackeray released ‘Vachan Naama’ for J&K based on the aspirations of the people, the party said in a statement.
A team of party state leaders led by Jammu and Kashmir unit chief Manish Sahni today congratulated their young flamboyant leader Aditya Thackeray on his birthday at Matoshree and took a pledge to fulfill the released ‘Vachan Naama’.
While giving detailed information regarding the ‘Vachan Naama’, Sahni said that the safe return of Kashmiri Pandits to the valley and restoration of rights of Bhumiputras, women empowerment, better health and education, etc are based on public aspirations.
Thackeray also expressed concern over the delay in the restoration of the democratic process in Jammu and Kashmir and increased terrorist activities in the Jammu division. Sahni assured the party high command that with the state unit continuously going among the people and raising its voice on public issues and getting full support from the public, the party will perform better in the upcoming assembly elections and for the first time, the flag of Shiv Sena (UBT) will be hoisted in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly.
