132 Bn CRPF celebrated National Unity Day with patriotic fervor at historic clock tower Lal Chowk Srinagar. The event was held to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India.
The spokesman said on the occasion of birth anniversary of Ist Home Minister of India Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, troops & officers of 132 Bn CRPF observed the day from the historic Clock Tower, Lalchowk with a ‘Run for Unity’ program on the eve of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.
“Troops were also administered with a pledge issued by Ministry of Home Affairs. The occasion was celebrated with full zeal and enthusiasm and jawans actively participated to spread a message of awareness of unity and fight against all evils.
As a result, a peaceful environment is created to live people in peace and harmony. The oath ceremony was attended by the CRPF officers and Jawans.
