Sagar Cultural Forum organises literary event in memory of Dr Shujaat Bukhari

Pattan, Nov 18: Sagar Cultural Forum, a well-known literary and cultural organisation of Jammu and Kashmir, organised a one-day literary event in the memory of Dr Syed Shujaat Bukhari at Government Middle School Gulistan Payeen Sheri Baramulla.
The first session was presided over by the well-known poet and writer Mr. Bashir Mangwalpuri. Journalist Nazim Nazir was the special guest on the occasion while SHO Sheeri Syed Waseem Jahangir, Farooq Rafiabadi and Ilham Narawai were among the dignitaries.
President of the forum Bashar Zogiari welcomed the guests while patron of the forum Sagar Nazir performed the duties of Nizamat. SHO Sheeri Syed Waseem Jahangir was honored on this occasion
Later, a grand gathering was held in which poets from far-flung areas of the valley paid tribute to the late Syed Shujaat Bukhari through their poems.
The mushaira was presided over by a well-known poet Abid Ashraf, while Bashir Zogiari, Qayoom Tarkulbali, Dilnawaz Khan, Akash Hameed, Farooq Rafiabadi, Saqi Irshad, Yusuf Samim Mohiuddin Bitab, Waseem Ali Qazim Akhtar Hussaini Hayah Sameera Mumtaz Rasheed Bashir Mangwalpuri Sabir Mohiuddin Sahil Supori Ilham Ahad Munib Adori Farooq Malik Ghafar Khaksar Salim Yusuf Shahzad Manzoor Shahbaz Majeed Shahi Sajjad Farooq and Afzal Hashmi presented their poetic symposium.
The event was attended by a large number of schoolchildren and the general public.
