Ganderbal, April 21: Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday launched an AI-powered website, marking a significant step towards digital transformation in education in the region.

The newly launched platform is expected to revolutionize communication and academic monitoring by offering a centralized digital space where students, parents, and teachers can seamlessly access updated learning resources and performance insights in real time.

Speaking to Rising Kashmir, Principal Sajad Ahmad termed the website as the “front gate of the institution emphasizing its role in connecting the school with the wider community. A website today is not just a notice board but a complete system that integrates admissions, academics, and communication. It serves existing students and parents while also attracting prospective admissions, he said.

Highlighting the key features, the Principal noted that the platform integrates AI-based tools to enhance learning outcomes.

Students will be able to take topic-wise assessments, evaluate their understanding instantly and track their academic growth over time. This system allows a child to assess their competence daily and gradually improve both academically and in co-curricular activities, he added.

The website also introduces digitized administrative services including the issuance of certificates through secure logins and QR code-based verification. Transparency and efficiency are at the core of this initiative. From admission to certification, everything is streamlined digitally, reducing delays and ensuring corruption-free practices, Ahmad said.

He further stressed that the platform will play a crucial role in crisis management and community outreach enabling timely dissemination of information and updates. The integration of academic schedules, study material and teacher activities will ensure that students can stay connected with their learning from home.

Students expressed optimism that the new platform will strengthen engagement between the school and parents while fostering a more transparent and performance driven academic environment.
