Ganderbal: An enrolment drive was kicked off at Government Middle School RamwariGund by Zonal Education Officer Zone Hariganiwan of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
During the drive, a rally was also taken out in the local periphery by the students and teachers in which parents were given awareness regarding benefits of government schooling.
An official told Rising Kashmir that during the drive, over 11 students were enrolled. On the occasion ZEO appealed the people to get their wards enrolled in Government run schools.
The drive was attended by ZEO Hariganiwan, Mohammad Maqbool Shah, Sarpanch Gund B, Gh Nabi Kullo besides teachers and students of the institution.
The students shouted slogans regarding importance of education besides carrying placards.The drive will remain continue till 25th of March.
