Yuvika, Sneha get warm reception for their achievement in NYF 2025

Jammu, Jan 13: Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K, Rajinder Singh Tara along with his team of officers Monday accorded a warm reception to 68-member J&K contingent after their arrival from Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue National Youth Festival 2025 and honoured the winners Yuvika Singh and Sneha Devi for their exceptional show in Viksit Bharat Challenge in an impressive function in the premises of the Directorate of Youth Services and Sports Office.
Yuvika got the adjudicators nod to emerge topper in her track and made it to the final list of toppers in 10 themes of Viksit Bharat Challenge across India, who were picked to present their ideas before the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, while Sneha got the prestigious 3rd place all over India in Declamation Contest.
Yuvika Singh’s theme was ‘Empowering Youth for Viksit Bharat’, Sneha Devi’s topic was ‘The Role of Youth in Development’ (Viksit Bharat).
The DG Sports along with Deputy Director YS&S (C), Jitender Mishra, who was Nodal Officer of the Event: Ravi Kumar Sharma, Deputy Director (P) and Sunil Kumar Sharma, Accounts Officer Directorate garlanded all members of the contingent and presented bouquets to the duo of Yuvika and Sneha as a token of appreciation for their achievement.
While throwing light on the achievement of these young leaders, Rajinder Singh Tara said that the newly introduced Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue in National Youth Festival has served as a launching pad for young leaders to contribute in the nation’s development.
While congratulating Sneha and Yuvika, Tara accredited their success to the sheer-dint of hard work by their parents, teachers and the support staff. He said 28 youth were selected after a 2-month long rigorous exercise of online quiz competitions, evaluation of essays and moderation of the presentations, adding 1,44,000 participated in quiz, 753 took part in essay writing, around 250 in presentations and finally 28 were selected to represent J&K at the prestigious event.
Around 3000 young leaders across the country took part in Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue National Youth Festival 2025. Meanwhile, the duo of Yuvika and Sneha lavished praise on the Department of Youth Services and Sports, teachers, mentors and parents for facilitating and guiding them to make it to the highest level.
