An 18-year-old youth was stabbed by three persons after some altercation in Gulshan Abad area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla town on Saturday.
A police official said that the incident occurred in Gulshan Abad area of Baramulla, where the three accused allegedly thrashed and stabbed the victim.
Police identified the injured as Mohsin Ahmad son of Tariq Ahmad, a resident of Gulshan Abad, Baramulla.
Police said that the victim was stabbed by the accused with a car key.
“Ahmad sustained injuries in his arm and was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical assistance,” the police official said.
He further said that Baramulla police have taken cognizance of the incident and arrested the three accused persons.
“Further investigation into the matter is underway,” he added.
