Budgam, July 05: A 26-year-old youth died after receiving an electric shock while repairing the water motor in the Soibugh area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.
An official from the Police Post Soibugh told Rising Kashmir that a youth from the Soibugh area was repairing the water motor at his home when he received an electric shock.
“He was shifted to the SKIMS (JVC) in Bemina Srinagar for treatment where doctors declared him dead on arrival,” he said.
The official identified the deceased youth as Firdous Ahmad Malik, son of Mohammad Akbar Malik, a resident of Guru Mollaha Soibugh, Budgam.
